A journey to the heights of spiritual India
Join us on a pilgrimage through the breathtaking Himalayan landscape. Walk the paths where ancient rishis wandered and meditated, immerse yourself in timeless Vedic wisdom, and experience the powerful energies that have drawn pilgrims to these mountains for millennia.
RESERVE YOUR PLACE
We begin in Rishikesh, the “gateway to the Himalayas,” where we gather, rest from travel, and prepare for the journey ahead.
From here, we travel north, ascending along winding mountain roads, towards the first defining moment of our pilgrimage...
THE JOURNEY
01. Rishikesh
02. Kedarnath
Nestled among snow-capped peaks, the ancient Kedarnath Temple is one of India’s most powerful spiritual sites. We will make the pilgrimage on foot, staying overnight at the summit to fully absorb the energy of the place and participate in a rare, intimate nighttime ceremony few pilgrims witness.
03. Jyotir Math
Continuing north, we visit Jyotir Math, a historic seat of Vedic knowledge and a living center of the Vedic tradition.
Here we will experience the ashram of Swami Brahmanand Saraswati (Guru Dev), Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s master, and meditate in the sacred cave where the great sage Adi Shankara once lived. This is a place to connect deeply with centuries of Vedic practice.
04. Badrinath
Our journey continues to Badrinath, one of India’s most revered pilgrimage destinations. We will spend unhurried days witnessing ceremonies at the famous Vishnu Temple, bathing in sacred hot springs and experiencing the region’s renowned energy vortexes.
05. Rudraprayag & Return to Rishikesh
On the descent, we pause at the revered shrine of Dhari Devi before returning to Rishikesh. A final evening by the banks of the Ganga offers space to rest, integrate, and share experiences from the journey.

Frequently Asked Questions
The only prerequisite is that you have learnt Vedic Meditation. If you haven’t, please send us an email to info@bondimeditation.com.au and we will send you all the info on our Vedic Meditation courses.
We will do regular group meditations and some group 'rounds', but this retreat is not based around an intensive rounding program as we will be spending more time travelling and exploring. Rounding instruction will be available for anyone wishing to learn for the first time or looking to refresh their rounding practice.
Rounding combines a very specific sequence of yoga asanas, pranayama (breathwork) and Vedic Meditation to facilitate rapid stress release and expansion of consciousness.
