Information

Many of the fundamental ideas we have about the way life works are simply wrong. And yet we base our lives on them. The ancient Vedic texts call this tendency ‘the mistaken intellect’ and contains many lessons to help us correct the intellect and reduce our suffering and the suffering of others.

Vedic Fundamentals is led by Matt Ringrose in a discussion format. It takes some of the key lessons from the Veda and explores them in a simple, practical way so that you can apply them in your own life.

Yin & Pins with Acupuncture Collective!
Are you tired? Stressed? Tight muscles Overthinking? Or just looking to stay balanced? Time to reset. Yin & Pins merges the two ancient modalities of acupuncture and yoga. Both are vehicles to bring balance. This session will bring relaxation to your system equivalent to a mini holiday. A time to let go of stress and tightness. The first half will be a yin yoga session followed by acupuncture, bringing deep rest and restoration.

BMC Hosts; An Introduction to Vedic Astrology with Dalia Gencher

BMC is delighted to be hosting Dalia Gencher for our first talk on Vedic Astrology.

Jyotish, or Vedic Astrology is referred to as the Eyes of the Veda, as it allows us to see our life more clearly.  A Reading of your Vedic Birth Chart helps us to understand the astronomical movements at play and our individual expression of Self. It is practical application to align with the design of nature, and movement of space and time.

Dalia Gencher is a Vedic Astrologist and Sattva Yoga Teacher of the Himalayan Yog-Vedantic Tradition. The nature and intention of her work is to fulfil the purpose of life; celebration and liberation of the self. Her background as Vedic Meditator and Holistic Kinesiologist comes together with these Sacred teachings as a comprehensive and integrative practice. 

We will begin the session with a Group Meditation at 6:30pm before the talk.

A 90 minute, deep-house-soundtracked kundalini yoga class with one of Sydney’s most experienced and popular kundalini yoga teachers Karen Day.

If you’re new to kundalini, don’t worry – no prior experience is required for this class.  Expect breathwork and enlivening yoga kriyas to give you one of the most powerful yoga highs you will experience.

Afterwards we’d love you to stay and enjoy that high with some more tunes, chai and a chance to mingle with the BMC community.

A monthly get together where we share our perspectives on a specific book and explore what it is trying to reveal to us. The intention is to cover a broad range of styles including classic Vedic texts, spiritual works and self-help books, as well as fiction and biographies.

September book is Healing and Recovery By David R Hawkins.
This is a really special book for me as it helped me out of some dark places. I hope you find it as enlightening.
We do our best to support our local partners in Bondi, including Gertrude and Alice Bookstore, but unfortunately this time around the book was not available for them to get. So we recommend you buying from the following link;
