At the start of the retreat, you will be instructed into the advanced technique of Vedic Rounding. Rounding combines a very specific sequence of yoga asanas, pranayama (breathwork) and Vedic Meditation to facilitate rapid stress release and expansion of consciousness.
The practice of rounding enhances your ability to experience the present moment in its fullest - allowing you to be more connected to life and open to whatever it brings you.
There are no visas on arrival available, so you will need to obtain a tourist e-visa to enter India. Please ensure your passport is valid six months after your final day in India. Click here to secure your visa directly through the Indian government.
You will need to arrive in New Delhi on or before 28th March. The check-in time at Udman hotel is from 2pm. We will be meeting in the hotel lobby at 3pm for a quick trip to the shops to ensure we are all fit for the occasion with Indian appropriate attire. Please do your best to arrive before 3pm.
Retreat ends on the 5th April, checking out from Rishikesh resort by 10am.
There are a few options for return travel from Rishikesh, although this is your responsibility and the cost of this travel is excluded from the retreat fee, we can definitely assist in advising you on the best option based on your international flight departure date, location and time.
The train from Haridwar to New Dehli is a comfortable journey with a guaranteed departure and arrival time. You also have the benefit of no additional charges for your luggage.
Internal flight from Dehradun, the nearest airport from Rishikesh, does not include luggage and can add a significant fee to your journey. The arrival time is also not guaranteed as there can be lots of delays and cancellations due to the Himalayan weather!
The last option is a taxi at approximately $120 AUD, taking approximately 6hrs, this is a good option if you have a specific time you want to arrive in Delhi for a flight.
If you need to book an additional night stay in New Delhi please let us know and we will put you in contact with our travel agent.
